Healing from the inside out
“A person is a fluid process, not a fixed and static entity; a flowing river of change, not a block of solid material; a continually changing constellation of potentialities, not a fixed quantity of traits.”
— Carl Rogers

Deep relief and lasting change for your whole self
You’re here because you’re finally ready for some real change; I’m here to help you get unstuck and stay that way. My philosophy is holistic, meaning treatment is tailored to you as a whole person. In therapy, we’ll address every dimension of your experience as a human: mind, heart, body, and spirit. Many traditional forms of therapy treated these parts separately, or not at all. We know now that they are deeply connected and are all important avenues for healing, so you can expect our sessions to look different from ordinary talk therapy. We might do some stretching, read poetry, or try out a guided meditation—all in service of creating balance across these dimensions and laying the foundation for lasting wellness.

Therapy for Highly Sensitive People
It all feels like too much, all the time. You’re overwhelmed, isolated, and totally exhausted. You’ve tried to hide your sensitivity and “toughen up,” but that’s only left you feeling numb, cut off from everything that makes you you. It doesn’t always have to feel this way. When you learn to recognize your gifts and live in harmony with your natural design as a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), life becomes balanced and fulfilling in ways you never imagined. In therapy, I’ll help you honor your sensitivity, regulate big emotions, and set boundaries to protect your peace.
Therapy for Depression
Life has its natural ups and downs, but anyone who experiences depression knows that it’s not just normal sadness. Depression feels like a complete loss of vital energy. It sucks the meaning out of your life and steals your ability to connect with the people you love most. Relief is possible—even when all hope seems lost, even when you feel like you don’t deserve it. A supportive, affirming relationship is foundational to your healing, and therapy provides just that. Depression treatment will help you get to the root of your depression, build self-compassion, and give you the tools you need to get your life moving again.
Therapy for Anxiety
From the moment you wake up in the morning, you’re greeted with that sinking feeling, like something is about to go horribly wrong. Your mind spins with thoughts of “what if…” that follow you around all day and keep you up at night. You’ve tried everything you can to manage it, but nothing works. It all just feels completely out of control. Anxiety doesn’t have to run your life anymore. With anxiety treatment, you will learn about your anxiety, build practical skills to manage it, and conquer the avoidance that keeps you stuck.
The Process of Therapy
01.
Free Consultation
After you complete my contact form, I’ll email you to schedule a free 15-minute discovery call. During this call, we’ll get to know a bit about each other and decide if we’re a good fit. If we are, we’ll schedule our first session. If not, I’ll refer you someone who is.
02.
Intake Paperwork
Prior to our first session, I’ll set you up with an account in my online portal where you’ll complete your intake paperwork. Through this paperwork, you’ll learn about me and my practice, and you’ll share details about yourself, your history, and what brings you to therapy.
03.
Initial Session
Think of your initial session as an opportunity to explore where you are, where you’ve been, and where you’d like to go. We’ll review your intake paperwork and set goals for treatment. My job is to make sure you feel seen, supported, and hopeful for the future.
04.
Ongoing Sessions
Your therapy sessions will be as unique and individual as you are. We’ll work together to explore the challenges you’re facing and equip you with the tools you need to overcome them. We’ll check in on your progress and change course as needed along the way.
